Class trips

Day or half day sessions for class-sized groups (around 30 children), exploring woodland and parkland, learning bushcraft skills including camp fire cooking and shelter building and developing their understanding of the natural world.

Participants bring their own packed lunches.

Snacks and drinks provided.

Times to suit the group, usually 9.30am to 3pm.

In-school class and INSET sessions

Day or half day sessions based in school either for staff or students.

Sessions for students can be fully integrated into a topic or provide a broader fun exploration of aspects of the natural world.

INSET sessions can focus on a single curriculum area, eg integrating outdoor learning into science, numeracy or literacy, or develop staff confidence over a range of outdoor activities and techniques.
