The Yurt Collective - weaving

Recently, our art sessions in the yurt have taken us through various sorts of weaving - from willow baskets, tapestry weaving and circle weaving, to cordage making. They've all been exciting to experiment with, and you can see from the tapestry weaving photos that everyone creates their own take on each project. Being able to build skills each time means that you can be more adventurous with the next project. Discovering that mistakes are actually new ways of looking at things is an important skill in itself!
