It was really sad last week when we found our biggest fruit tree had rot right the way through it’s trunk- it had to be fully removed rather than just pruned as we’d been hoping to do. But it’s gaining a new lease of life as bug and small mammal housing, dens for children, door handles, a loo roll holder and here, a fantastic row of coat hooks all ready for nice warm days relaxing at the allotments- thanks to our brilliant volunteer Cliff (who also made the loo door latch work properly) and his mini helper Tom who did a lot of Finding Just The Right Screws!
