News: one-to-ones with vulnerable youngsters continue

We are very happy that our one-to-one respite support sessions can carry on through the current lockdown.

This week, after cooking some lunch, barrowing some wood chippings, and cleaning the tools, we learnt about seed saving- and what better seeds than ones from Hallowe’en pumpkin! Ours were starting to get a bit stinky, but we gave them a really good wash, and laid them out to dry. Then they’ll be stored in paper bags until spring.

Hopefully, the allotment mice won‘t pinch too many before we get chance to collect them up - allotment dog might be too busy snoozing to see them off!
