We've just done our fourth session at Annie's Place, the centre where Derby Umbrella run their sessions for children and adults wth additional needs.
So far, we have planted veg, made bird feeders, woven willow plant supports - and this week, we made wooden 'cookie' pendants from scratch. That meant that we leant to use a bow saw to cut a small slice of sycamore, then we drilled a small hole in it before decorating the pendants.
A really lovely selection of ideas, and fantastic to see everyone having a go, even if some people were pretty nervous of using the bow saw at first!
