Ready to roll...
We’re running three gardening club sessions with key stage 2 children from Bemrose Primary School in the weeks before Easter.
We’ll be filling their lovely big raised beds with a great range of edible perennial plants- easy to maintain, nice smelling, safe, great for learning about all sorts of subjects and, of course, fantastic for pollinating insects.
This week we have the bully plants going into the smaller separate border- mint, Jerusalem artichoke, horseradish and lovage- as well as alpine strawberries and blackcurrants to start off the main border.
It’s going to grow into a tasty garden for people and wildlife alike!
